Research studies on Hepatitis and Liv-52

Liv.52 tablets can bestow clinical and biochemical improvement by virtue of a direct, hepatocellular, regenerative and stimulating effect. About 60% cases of acute and chronic hepatitis of this nature benefited substantially with Liv.52 only. To read more about this study, visit A study of serum glycolytic enzymes and serum B hepatitis in relation to Liv52 therapy - Patney, N.L. and Sumanbala Pachori, The Medicine and Surgery (1986): (XXVI), 4, 9.

One hundred and thirty cases of viral hepatitis in children admitted to Medical College Hospital, Aurangabad were studied. The ages of these children ranged from 5 months to 12 years the highest incidence was in the age group 4-7 years the majority of them (65%) belonged to the poor socio-economic group. Jaundice had lasted for less than 10 days prior to admission in 50% of cases. Mortality rate was 3.8%. Complete biochemical recovery took 8-10 weeks in the majority of the cases. To read more about this study, visit Viral hepatitis in children - Chawhan, R.N., Talib, S.H., Talib, V.H., Sengupta, S.R. and Patil, S.D., The Medicine and Surgery (1976): 3, 9.
